Elite Sports Performance-Professional Athlete

Our professional off-season training program is second to none. By implementing proven methodologies to increase strength and power output, as well as decrease injury risk through higher quality movement, you’re sure to take your game to the next level. Our off-season training program is broken down into 3 phases.

 

Foundational Strength, Conditioning & Movement.

During this phase, we will set a solid base in which we can build upon. To begin, we will perform a series of tests and assessments, including a ForceDeck Analysis (strength and power output, imbalances between limbs, etc) administered by our Director of Performance. We also structure the program to gradually ramp up the intensity in order to recover from the previous season. Proper breathing patterns are vital to sport performance, which we implement from the beginning. Once we have a foundational level of strength, conditioning and movement, we really get to work!

Advanced Strength, Power & Movement.

During phase 2, we continue to build our explosive strength, speed and agility qualities in preparation for the upcoming season. The demands of a mini-camp, regardless of the sport, are extremely taxing. We begin moving at higher velocities to prep the body and tissue to meet these demands in phase 2. We also continue to expand our movement literacy and fluidity through a series of exercises based on rhythm and coordination.

Sport/Position Specific Movement.

Finally, in phase 3, we begin to train specifically for the sport and position of the athlete. Although we do sport-specific movement all throughout the off-season, we get more specific and technical as we get closer to season. By now, we’re able to use the qualities in which we’ve improved upon throughout the off-season (power, speed, agility, etc.) in a manner that translates directly to sport. Whether you’re a running back avoiding linebackers or a point guard driving the lane, you’ll be ready for it.
